Theresa L. Dember-Neal DACM, RN, Dipl. Ac. (NCCAOM), LAc

Theresa is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), Registered Nurse, licensed registered, and NCCAOM certified Acupuncturist, who grew up on Long Island. She is dedicated to help patients achieve optimal wellness at any stage of life. She specializes in pain, dis-ease due to stress, and menstrual disorders. She also does facial rejuvenation with acupuncture and herbs. She has over 30 years in the healthcare field.

Theresa has provided Chinese Medicine lectures and Reiki demonstrations to students in Nursing and Anthropology courses at a local college. Because she had health issues as a child, Theresa was introduced to both conventional and alternative therapies including Chinese medicine early in life. This gave her a strong curiosity about the functions in the human body, peaking her interest in Chinese medicine and providing her direction for her education goals.

As a teenager she witnessed a middle aged family member in a lot of pain and having great difficulty walking due to a prolapsed bladder. Though the only option was surgery according to physicians at that time, this person had a dramatic improvement in her condition through the sole use of Chinese medicine. The woman achieved normal bladder function well into her 80’s without the pain she previously experienced.
